Annual One Time
National Grants of $50,000 Based on Need
Each year the Federal Government accepts applications in the Spring from faith-based and community organizations to help them better serve those
in need. These one-time grants are designed to:
- Enhance the
organization's ability to provide social services to those most in need
- Expand the capacity
of their organizations
- Diversity their
funding sources
- Create collaborations
to better serve those in need.
To be eligible to
apply for these grants you MUST be serving ONE of the following areas:
- At-risk
youth
- Homelessness
- Supply programs
to those living in rural communities
- Providing marriage
education
Eligibility

You must service individuals in a “distressed community.”
(This is an area with an unemployment rate and/or poverty rate that is equal to or greater
than the state or national rate)

You must address one of the following areas:

Leadership Development

Organizational Development
-
Program/Services (not direct services but ideas that strengthen
programs)
